Marc got in contact after being recommended to talk to me by someone on a forum. Marc's company had just gone through a recent rebrand with a fairly large local firm. However Marc and his partner decided that they were not satisfied with what the new design was portraying.

After a brief chat with Marc I decided that I can help the company go in the direction that they want. I sent out a questionnaire that I send to every client at the start of the project to get a better understanding of the goals and needs of the design.

I collected the information and after some brief research in to some competitors I sketched out some ideas in my sketchbook. I then narrowed down the design to two versions that I would then create in Adobe illustrator.

I presented the first version to Marc and his partner. Marc's first response is that he loved it, but sadly his partner was not so keen on the design. She felt that there was something not quite on the button so to say.

I then presented Marc and his partner with the second version. The response was a lot better than the first. Both Marc and his partner loved the design and they felt that after a few final tweaks we had the final version.

Here is Marcs final response.

On our original order with a large local company, we neither got the attention that you gave us nor were we satisfied with the end result. In our dealings with you, some 6000 miles away, we felt that you were very attentive to our needs. We were very happy with the end result.

We felt your pricing was reasonable, and competitive, but as you know...we did pay a little extra. I believe you get what you pay for, and what I got from you was, I believe worth more than you charged .

We can't wait to get our branding out there in the market place, we know that logo's don't sell a business, but a good clean look sure spells volume nonetheless. We will be calling you again on our next order and to definitely discuss changing our website.
