Social Media Retouching – These are some social media retouching that I have done over the last year. All images are taken from different photographers and are cleaned up and colour graded to match the different brands aesthetics. These are usually cross platform posts such as Facebook and Instagram.
Evan Williams & Major League Baseball
Evan Williams partnered with Major League Baseball to offer a sweepstakes prize to send four people to the 2017 World Series. The project included a content hub where people can find out more about baseball and bourbon, a social media campaign, homepage banners on MLB.com and newsletters.
I was responsible for the Art Direction and Visual Design on some of the layouts on the content hub, all social and take over images as well as the newsletter designs. We also designed Stadium graphics, bar carts as well as MLB teams social posts to strengthen the brand through the baseball season.
Burnett's Vodka Campaign Retouching
I was tasked to take the files that the photographer gave us and make them campaign ready. After removing all disguisable items, logos, I then went about colour grading and cloning items, I had to come up with a solution that would allow the client or ourselves the ability to update labels and caps to feature different flavours throughout the seasons. This was mainly for the website and media but also for the occasional print advertisement.
Heaven Hill Distillery
Heaven Hill Distillery digital brand was created in 2016 initially conceived as a way to bring their brands of whiskey under one umbrella. Using the reach of social media the brand came to life via a responsive website design, social media posts and newsletter designs. I was responsible for designs of certain pages, newsletters and social posts. I also did all the retouching on all images throughout the site and social media.
Team Evan Williams
Evan Williams Bourbon has a professional Bass Fishing Team with two highly skilled competitors John Crews and Hank Cherry. They ran a program that had both John and Hank on a Facebook live chat, where they answered questions live. I was responsible for the art direction and visual design of all key assets, page layout and banner support on Bassmaster.
Larceny Bourbon CBS Fantasy Football
Larceny Bourbon had a take over design on CBS Fantasy Football, there was two full running designs that took over the webpages on site and supporting advertising blocks that all ran together to keep a uniform feel. I was responsible for the Art Direction and the Visual designs.
Email Newsletter Designs
I was responsible for the redesign of two of Heaven Hill’s largest brands Burnett’s Vodka and Evan Williams Bourbon email newsletter designs. These were both designs that had to be able to change quickly as each month certain areas changed depending on the content that we was showing.
American Made Heroes
Every year Evan Williams honours United States Servicemen and Servicewomen. They run a program that allows you to nominate your hero and in return they get a free gift. Also a select few Servicemen and Servicewomen get their portrait and story printed on a custom Evan Williams Bourbon bottle. I was responsible for the Visual design of supporting assets. I took elements from the website and created social media campaign assets, newsletter designs and homepage sliders for EvanWilliams.com. I also did all the portrait retouching and retouching on the images for the website.
Domain De Canton
I was responsible for retouching all drink assets for the brand Domaine De Canton. This included taking the assets we sourced via stock sites, cutting them out and making sure they fit the brand style. These had to be fully transparent (work on multiple backgrounds) but also match the liquids each recipe needed. There was a lot of detail work here such as colour correction, creating ice cubes and garnishes etc.
